Zellerfeld & Nike Introduce the Air Max 95000 Inspired by the Air Max 95
Fresh off unveiling four ways it's innovating, Nike, Inc. has been linked to another 3D-printed footwear style developed with the help of Zellerfeld. A modified edition of the Air Max 1000, the newly-surfaced Air Max 95000 draws inspiration from the Air Max 95, which has been celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The latest innovative Air Max proposal sees plump visible Zoom Air units at the heel and forefoot, which come together with zellerFOAM® material to create a dual-sensation cushioning solution. The upper's layout and design isn't too different from the AM1000, but contouring breaks up the profiles with waved lines that harken back to Sergio Lozano's nature-inspired AM95. Underfoot, the outsole sees radial patterned-traction segmented at the forefoot and hind-foot. The AM95000 is the first silhouette created using Project Nectar, a Nike-only printing process.
The "Black/Volt" Air Max 95000 releases via a raffle hosted on zellerfeld.com and Nike SNKRS on Friday, Nov. 28, for $250. Folks interested in seeing the pair in-person can do so at Nike's Mad Market activation during ComplexCon Las Vegas.
