We’ve missed seeing the Air Max 97 around during its obligatory absence over the colder months, but as we start to edge closer and closer to Spring, you can expect to see more of the speeding-bullet-inspired sneaker hitting both your feeds and your local sneaker spot. Here we find a perfect colorway for the transitional season, pairing icy blue underfoot that mimic the frosty days of now, with vivid all-white up top — the classic Summer go-to hue. One would even say that this pair is ice cold ad white-hot at the same damn time — especially when you notice the white flame emoji etched onto the mid-panel in place of the customary mini Swoosh. That little Check has been migrated to the mudguard while another flame emoji appears on the underfoot detail.
