Available Now // The Nike Air Max 97 Whisks in a Vintage Woodgrain Finish

Dating further back than the silhouette it sits on, woodgrain was one of the staples of the 70s, found on everything from pianos to car exteriors. A strange choice for the Air Max 97, the faux-finish returns to an exterior, this time riding the lower overlay of this black-based trainer. Below that you’ll find a creamy-white overlay — a color that returns on the Swoosh branding hits, tongue overlays, and Air support system, and the pair is completed with a flash of woodgrain on the tongue, and fully-covered graphic insoles.
