Nike's futuristic Air Max Dn kicked off an evolution for the visible Nike Air line. Ahead of the coldest time of the year, the silhouette has emerged in a winterized edition to brace the elements better than standard pairs.
Aptly named Air Max Dn WTR, the newly-surfaced sneaker appears like a regular edition of the Dynamic Air-cushioned model. Close inspection, however, reveals tweaks to both the upper and sole unit's builds. As with other proposals meant to endure the elements, Nike likely protected the Air Max sneaker with a special coating or different compound of materials. A lack of GORE-TEX branding on the pair confirms the industry-leading technology isn't used on the pair. Nevertheless, the Swoosh's own rugged touches should be enough for tackling slippery, cold conditions.
The update is set to launch in a "Noble Red/Noble Red/Light Crimson/Black" color scheme. The bulk of the upper indulges in a dark ruby tone that combines with darker hues across the lower-half of the sneaker to create a look that'd be right at home at any Stray Kids concert around the world.
Enjoy official photos of the debut Air Max Dn WTR ahead. Pairs should quietly release via Nike.com by the start of November.
