Over the years, Nike has shown a penchant for combining technologies, both new and old, to bring about brand new models to their ever-expanding athleisure catalog. The all-new Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer is just that; a mix of old, new, and not-so-new that not only brings modern performance, but also a nostalgic feel to the new model.

Although Air Max technology has been the brand’s go-to tech for over 30 years, its reinvention has resulted in many new methods in presenting the cushioning. One of the newest is the Air Max Pre-Day, which has literally been ripped at the sole for this design. Up top site a woven upper derived from the classic Flyknir Racer circa 2013. The two together create a new casual running synergy, bringing the sleek style of the 2013 trainer with significantly better comfort and cushioning of the Pre-Day — it’s a win-win.

Though a release date for this all-new Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer “Oreo” has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to arrive in 2022.
