Nike Settles Air Max Goadome Debate with Special "DMV" Release
Sorry, New York City, the designer of the Nike Air Max Goadome has gone on record as confirming that Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and the whole DMV area were "the first cities to truly embrace the [boots]." As such, the D.C., Maryland, Virginia metropolitan area are getting their own edition of the iconic Nike boots.
A follow-up to July 2024's cherry blossom-inspired Air Foamposite One, which was endorsed by Wale, the "DMV" Goadome is built with similar design elements. A wine-reminiscent red takes over the entirety of the boots' leather upper. DMV lettering is etched into the spine, complete with swoosh branding. Underfoot, the rugged Air Max-assisted sole unit opts for a predominantly "Black" finish, although ACG logos on the outsole bring some of the upper's richness below. Elsewhere, cherry blossom graphics are printed onto the footbeds; a near identical image appeared on the aforementioned Foams.
Enjoy detailed shots of the DMV-inspired Air Max Goadome ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com and select retailers by the end of Summer 2026.
