The hype around the Nike TN3’s return may have died down a touch since its highly anticipated (and first-ever) retro release in 2019, but avid fans of the Air Max classic have reaped the rewards of lower demand in the years since. Early on, colorways and cops were plentiful, but as time has gone on, the releases dried up. That appears to be changing as we head into Summer 2022, as new colorways of the silhouette are beginning to surface — including this new addition to Nike’s “Carabiner” collection.
Decked out in a new crochet-like bone mesh and wrapped in tonal leather guards, the pair moves fast to include some outdoor inspiration. Aside from the titular carabiner hand tag, the pair employs Bordeaux and University Gold across several branded areas, the gradient cage overlays, the Air supports, and the lace fleck detail. All of these light, bright hues are anchored by bold blacks in the back, underfoot, and pure whites along the midsole.
An official release date for the pair is still unknown, but you should expect to see this new Nike Air Max Plus 3 “Carabiner” sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks. When they do hit shelves, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on our official Twitter account.
