The Air Max Scorpion Boasts a Bold “Bred” Colorscheme
Year after year, Nike’s Air Max lineage continues to push the boundaries of sneaker innovation, daring to reinvent itself in bold and unique ways. Although the brand has consistently thrived on innovation, its Air Max line has struggled to gain momentum in recent years. As the sneaker market shifts towards a love for vintage designs, one might wonder if there’s a place for such cutting-edge advancements. Enter the Nike Air Max Scorpion, a futuristic sneaker that challenges the status quo. While its striking design has been predominantly paired with subdued colorways, the recent “Air Max Day” and “M. Frank Rudy”editions have bucked that trend. Now, Nike returns to its roots by introducing the iconic “Bred” colorway to the audacious Air Max Scorpion silhouette.
Harnessing one of Nike’s classic color scheme, the pair proffers a majority black build, from the mesh upper to the mudguard. Strikes of bright red are worked into the profile Swoosh detail, with Flywire lace looks and raised brand marks to match. The silhouette’s signature bulbous Air unit receives a red tint, too, with a black rubber tread tacked on underneath to complete the design.
A release date for this all-new Nike Air Max Scorpion “Bred” has just been set for May 1st.
