The Nike Air Max Zephyr Appears in Pink and Grey for the Ladies

Originally hidden inside midsoles, then showcasing its full glory with Air Max 1, the Nike Air Max Zephyr imagines a future where “Air’’ is everywhere — and boy is it on the Zephyr.

The brand-new silhouette from Nike is lightweight and ultra-modern, and employs Air like no other Air Max in history. Three Nike Air pods engulf the pair at the medial and lateral sides and tongue — as well as the epic 720 Air unit in the rear. But it’s not just the audacious use of Air that’s leading the charge, with organic overlays and ultra chunk that beefs up the silhouette. This ladies-exclusive release counters the aggressiveness of the design by implementing a soft, feminine palette of pastel pink, grey, and cream, with white making a quick cameo, too. Residing exclusively to the upper, rear pull and the insole is baby pink, with light grays forming the bulk across the multiple overlays, liners, midsole piece, semi-translucent rubber outsole, and 720 Air support. Cream accents come in at the profile Air extrudes, as well as the glaze on the upper eyelets and toe box, while crisp whites finish of the design at the midsole.

After debuting earlier this month, the silhouette’s newest colorway shouldn’t be too far behind — so you should expect to see a Nike.com release arrive in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
