Available Now // Nike’s New Air MX 720-818 to Arrive in Both Red and Black

Nike’s latest endeavor into it’s Air Max 720 tech is something of interstellar proportions. The Swoosh brand has just unveiled the Air MX 720-818, and if that name doesn’t already sound like some sort of weird underground government project, then one look at it will. Streamlined as if it were an interstellar craft, the pair — which takes an obvious inspiration from the Air Max 98 — boasts a two-piece synthetic upper, joined by a wavy seam running across its horizontal. It’s capped in thanks to a full wrap-around mudguard, detailed here in grid, and is held in place by a signature Air Max 720 sole unit. The pair is then cross-stitched over and reps a medial oval overlay — a-la the OG 98 —and the pair is finished off with OTT details, including elongated tongue and heel pulls, both sporting big, bold branding hits, as well as MX 720-818 screened onto the lateral bubble in true aircraft fashion.
