The widely-loved Eggplant colorway earned its stripes as one of the later colorways of the Nike Air Foamposite One, so when it comes to any ‘Posite-loaded sneaker, the colorway becomes a surefire success. Especially when its repurposed on another Penny Hardaway Nike. That was the case for 2010’s Nike Air Penny 3 “Eggplant”, with it’s striking white base and iridescent purple Posite panels becoming a fan favorite upon release. And although the popularity Pennys and Foamposites, in general, have declined, there will still be a substantial group of old heads who’ll be chuffed at the news of its return. That’s right, the Nike Air Penny 3 “Eggplant” is returning — and it’s heading your way this month.
Though first looks are not yet available the pair is expected to arrive as a one-for-one build, inclusive of white leather uppers, wavy profile Posite overlays in the titular shade of purple, and black accents throughout.
