Nike's Air Tech Challenge II "Tart" Releases Summer 2025

The Nike Air Tech Challenge II is no longer the Swoosh's marquee tennis silhouette, but the Andre Agassi-approved design continues to form an important part of the company's lineup of products.

Last August, the sneaker returned in its iconic 'Hot Lava' ensemble to celebrate its 35th anniversary. Follow-up releases since then have signaled that Nike isn't ready to return Agassi's bold signature model into the archives. A 'Racer Pink' option will soon be joined by another summer-ready ensemble dominated by 'Sail/Tart/Stone Blue'.

Expected as part of Nike Sportswear's collection for the warmer months, the latest Air Tech Challenge II boasts a heavily white and off-white makeup. Perforated leather overlays and textile bases set the stage for bolder hits of a New York Knicks-friendly blue and orange. The Air-assisted tooling underfoot falls in line with the Nike Tennis model's retro run, delivering yet another faux-aged look sure to pull on collectors' nostalgia threads.
