90s kids will all remember the OG Optimus Prime get-up from the original Transformers TV series. Decked out in the primary colors of Blue and Red paired with black, silver, and pops of yellow. But while the modern-day makeover has made his appearance a bit more menacing, the old heads will never forget. Which is why the correlation springs to mind on this pair of vividly-colored VaporMax 2019s – just like it did with the recently-released “Punch” Air Max 720s
Sporting a blue-striped white upper, the pair arrives overlayed by a translucent and black TPU overlay, taped at the seems by jet-black embellishment. Vivid Hyper Blue adorns the full-length VaporMax outsole — much like the lower half of the Autobots leading machine — while eye-popping Bright Crimson hits the profile Swooshes to further tighten the connection. Finishing off the design are the minimal hits of yellow on the heel taping and eyelet stitching.
