Nike Air VaporMax 2020 “Dark Grey” Drops September 10th

Since its inception in 2017, the Nike Air VaporMax has always been one to push the boundaries and test the limit of current sneaker fashion trends, including a collaboration with Virgil Abloh with his debut Nike “THE TEN” collaboration. Now with the recent release of the Nike Air VaporMax 2020, Nike looks to follow up with another quick-fire release dubbed “Dark Grey”.

Boasting an environmentally friendly construction that uses up to 50% reused materials, the upper is predominately comprised using a Flyknit adorning “Dark Grey” hues featuring desaturated multi-colored segments throughout. Smokey marbled recycled rubber overlays are placed over the toe box and heel that aids in a foot-hugging secure fit. The foundation of the shoe is a semi-translucent pod-like sole that remains to be a defining feature of the VaporMax lineage, black traction points are placed strategically on the outsole for best grip results. As previously seen on its debut silhouette we have the new FlyEase system that replaces the standard laces, this two-part system is tightened by pulling on the heels fabric straps – indicated “LOCK” – and you guessed it by yanking on the “RELEASE” tab located on the tongue the shoes secure grip will be released. Completing the look is a simple understated grey swoosh on the medial and a multi-colored tongue.

A release date for the Nike Air VaporMax 2020 “Dark Grey” has just been confirmed for release on Nike.comon September 10th, with pairs dropping in men’s, women and kids sizes for $220 ($200 for kids).
