Nike Air VaporMax 2020 “Iron Grey” Arrives August 24TH

Ever since the Nike VaporMax burst onto the scene back in 2017 it’s goal has been to challenge the status quo and experiment with our preconceptions of what functional fashion means. Now with the new Nike Air VaporMax 2020 silhouette, it looks to continue this same ethos and ensure its legacy with a new “Iron Grey” colorway that has re-focused towards an environmentally-friendly build that boasts 50% reused materials.

The upper is predominately constructed using the “Iron Grey” Flyknit as its foundational material which displays an array of segmented multi-colored particles and a white swoosh in the same vein. Marbled yellow and orange recycled rubber overlays are seen over the toe box and medial – to heel location which helps in a secure fit. At the bedrock of this design is a semi-translucent pod-like sole unit that’s synonymous with VaporMax and highlights an on theme grey undertones and multicolored points of traction. Completing the look but not to be overlooked is the FlyEase system that replaces the standard laces, this two-part system is tightened by pulling on the heels fabric straps – indicated “LOCK” – and you guessed it by yanking on the “RELEASE” tab located on the tongue will grant you freedom from the innovated system.
