Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Fresh” Arrives May 18th

The arrival of Summer means a lot of things — the weather turns, the sun surfaces more frequently, and the days begin to get longer. For footwear, it signals the return of color and vibrance, the next of which brings it in spades. Forming part of a wider Nike collection, this Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Fresh” ushers in common themes, including the use o red and yellow hues, and gradient tongue and insole branding.

Said branding has already been sighted on the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Light Fusion Red” — a colorway that also appears to fit in with this pack — while other pairs from the pack utilize both orange and yellow accents against either black or white bases. This pair prefers the former, with a jet black neoprene upper anchored under a tonal high-gloss cage and color-matched nubuck heel overlay. Underfoot, the entire sole unit is done in a heel-to-toe gradient or orange to yellow — a finish that is also applied to the tongue and insole branding. Ankle Swooshes are set in a solid orange hue, while special crimp-cut rear pulls in metallic gold fittingly read “FRESH!” to complete the design.
