Neon is Next-Up for the Nike Air VaporMax Plus

Already having surfaced on a slew of Air Max alternatives and even an Air Jordan 4, the Air Max 95’s famed “Neon” colorway is on a tear in 2020 — and rightfully so. After all, we’re currently in the 95’s 25th anniversary year, and there’s no other colorway more recognizable for the silhouette. Whilst we still have no word on an OG reissue, the alternates will have to do. If the new Air Max 270 React ENGor the TN3 editions are a little bit extreme for your liking, this new Nike VaporMax Plus “Neon” might be a little more your speed.

The pair mimics the OG’s gradient finish across its neoprene upper, fading from light-to-dark grey as it works back from the toe. Elsewhere, heavy black accents are utilized, with a fully murdered-out sole unit, shiny cage and toe overlays, along with black tongue, liners, laces and pulls. Cementing the connection is the use of Neon embellishments throughout the pair’s upper, including medial line strokes, tongue branding and lateral mini Swooshes, and the pair is capped off with classic Tn-inspired heel badge branding.
