The VaporMax Plus is no stranger to energetic colorways – after all, it is the love child of the Air Max Plus, a sneaker that’s adorned every hue from the color wheel. And next up for the bare-Aired trainer is one that pays homage to the OG “Sunset” Tuned Air.
Now, I haven’t seen a spirograph for at least two decades, but one can never forget the unique markings of the instrument, seen similarly here across the gradient-loaded neoprene upper. Said upper sports a familiar orange to yellow hue, with the late addition of purple hues at the heel for an extra hit of evening nostalgia. Wrapping the sneaker is bold black, covering the caging, laces, liners and sole unit, a-la the OG Sunset Air Max Plus, with a slight hint of purple popping up on the midfoot shank, as well as the insoles to complete the design.
