The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 once endorsed by Kobe Bryant is scheduled to make a triumphant return throughout 2026. Already confirmed in its emblematic "All-Star" colorway, the early aughts-silhouette is set to reappear in a stealthy "Black/Metallic Silver" look next summer.
Reported by Kicks Finder, the news adds another tally to the growing list of Nike Basketball products associated with the late Los Angeles Lakers legend to return. It's unclear, however, whether or not Eric Avar's design will receive the same Protro treatment that's ensured retro styles from the Nike Kobe line are still performance-viable for the modern game.
The Huarache 2K4 OT features a heritage-inspired build that harkens back to other important developments from the Swoosh's hoops catalog. A lockdown strap around the collar works in-tandem with a neoprene bootie for containment, while the sleek upper keeps the essentials in play. The silhouette's "Black/Metallic Silver" look delivers a stealthy look that differs from most "in-your-face" aesthetics currently offered by Nike Basketball.
