Another day, another Nike, Inc. design leak by industry veteran Frank Cooke.

Following his preview of the Air Max Goadome Low boot and insight behind impending patent leather Air Force 1s, the Jordan Brand legend has taken to Instagram Stories to unveil First Sight Shadow, a Nike Basketball silhouette scheduled to debut over the next 18 months.

Right away, the design fits in with iconic Nike Foamposite proposals of the last 30 years, donning the beetle-inspired finish across the upper. The dimpled, molded top-half, however, takes things a step further, opting for bulbous elements around the heel. This design choice harkens back to some of the Swoosh's more experimental performance models while also bringing the future to the present-day.

In his leak. Cooke emphasizes the model's comfort and stresses of the First Sight Shadow taps into an early 2000s Nike Basketball feel. The laceless design could continue to energize the greater Nike Sportswear business and will likely pair with seasonal apparel styles.

A release has just been confirmed for July 24th via Nike.com. Pairs will retail at $145.
