With tomorrow marking the first day of the month-long Pride celebrations, it’s perfect timing for this Nike Blazer Low “Be True” to appear. Nike’s Pride 2020 efforts were noticeably shrunk down due to COVID, so we’re expecting Nike to load up in 2021 with this the first of many to come — and customization seems to be the theme.

While typical rainbow-colored accents arrive throughout, the pair’s champion is the Velcro heel and accompanying patch set. Here, flags for genders and sexualities are able to be swapped in and out at the wearer’s discretion, to either celebrate oneself, their family, friends, or the entire movement as a whole. The famed rainbow LGBTQ+ flag is seen at the tongue and replicated at the multi-color stitched Swoosh and special gradient insoles, with everything else arriving in a classical construction — save the pastel pink-tinted sole unit.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see pairs of the Nike Blazer Low “Be True” hit select retailers in the coming weeks, if not days. So while we await further details, grab a quick look at the pair here below and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
