Though it’s frequently presented in the most basic of ways, the Nike Blazer hasn’t shied away from its few instances of inspiration. But as it appears, on this next colorway at least, that the creativity has taken place outside of the design, with the pair presenting in an incidental paint splatter effect seen frequently on the shoes of patining artists.
First seen on an almost identical colorway on the Blazer High (then on an Air Force 1 Low), this Low sports like flecks of black, green, blue, and red scattered throughout the predominately white leather construction. Rustic, well-worn effects at the weathered Swooshes and rear panels, with the latter featuring a scribbled NIKE typeface, while the remaining is resolved in standardized Blazer finishes, including neutral suede overlays and a sail sole unit underfoot.
