The sheer volume of Blazer releases over the past 18-24 months has made it crystal clear that Nike, Inc is extremely reliant on the silhouette to be a major contributor for their lifestyle division’s bottom line. And, although we’ve recently seen colored Swoosh selections dissipate in favor of more experimental options — like the just previewed duo of Shanghai editions — it does appear that the brand is going back to basics with not one, but two more classically blocked options on the way. Joining the recently-revealed “Maroon” paircomes this take that links a classic white upper with sail sole units and color bombs of Dark Teal Green at the Swoosh and rear panel. Forefoot overlays arrive in white suede while branding at the tongue caps off the design in vintage fashion.
