Nike’s impending “Toasty” lineage of insulated designs looks to be a big one. Not only have we uncovered more than a handful of Air Force 1s and Dunk Lows, but we’ve also now revealed two thermic colorways of the Nike Blazer Toasty.
Doubling up as part of Nike’s Move to Zero campaign, the collection shares an equal amount of emphasis on recycled materials as its insulating properties, with reused pieces rife through the pair, including at the sole unit, Swoosh, and eystay overlays. Like the others from the collection, the Blazer opts for uppers of quilted nylon, though here it differs by way of patchwork-style placements. Plush fleece liners and insoles which showcase the trademarked “Toasty” tag are the most obvious callouts to the sneaker’s toe-warming attributes, while the external tags that channel traditionally insulated outwear add to the aesthetic. The pair is then completed by the Swoosh’s repurposed Move to Zero Pinwheel logo at the tongue, and 3D-stitched Swooshes in the rear.
Colorwise, the first two to appear share some similar traits, including sail sole units, and cream laces, and toe caps. Though on different ends of the brightness scale, the tones used are mostly muted. The Rattan offering works with complementary shades of Brown Kelp, Cave Purple, and Teal, whilst the Sequoia option rides mostly with greens — save a splash of soft pink.
