Nike Cover the Classic Black/White Cortez in Nubuck and Suede

The Nike Cortez remains one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, embodying heritage, style, and staying power. While the model has been offered in countless variations over the years, Nike now brings it back to its most recognizable colorway — black and white — with a premium twist.

This Summer 2025 release leans into the sneaker’s timeless appeal with a full black upper constructed in a combination of nubuck and suede. It's a refined switch-up from the usual nylon build, offering a more elevated and versatile finish without sacrificing the classic Cortez DNA. The oversized Swoosh, heel overlay, and tongue tag arrive in soft sail suede, balancing the pitch-black base with crisp contrast.

Underfoot, the midsole also sticks to tradition, pairing white foam with a black wedge insert above the sawtooth rubber outsole. Finishing off the look is a silver metallic dubrae at the base of the laces, adding just a hint of polish.

The Nike Cortez “Black/White” is expected to arrive in Summer 2025, continuing the model’s long-standing legacy with a material refresh that stays true to its roots.
