Nike Cosmic Unity “Space Hippie” Now Releases April 2nd

Taking flight as the world’s premier performance hoops manufacture since the late 1990s, Nike Basketball has seen some of the weirdest and most wonderful technology. The next page in that manifest is the Nike Cosmic Unity, a sneaker that has already captivated sneakerheads and hoopers alike thanks to its wild design ethos, mixed material make, and hi-tech tooling. Now, as a follow-up to the debut “Green Glow” release on February 26th, comes the silhouette’s sophomore pair, the Nike Cosmic Unity ” Space Hippie”

Equipped with significantly lighter hues, the grey-based pair arrives with bright accents of white, chambray blue, and striking orange, along with a slew of multi-color pops and intriguing finishes. Its grey mesh uppers come interwoven with fine orange thread that channels the thick warped threads above that encase it. Towards the rear, the recycled stain glass-like multi-color collage is found — even appearing through the midsole cut-outs at the heel. The confetti-finish is mimicked at the laces, too, while a more natural stone-like finish is placed upon the tongue tags and hi-gloss Swooshes. Cambray blue sole units, rear rise, and front pulls drop the temperature of the orange-popped pair, while the crisp white of the eyestay overlay and rear pull adds some much-needed pop. the pair is then completed by hits of orange alon the rear tag, while textile overlays and insoles.

Originally scheduled for mid-March, a new release date for the Nike Cosmic Unity “Space Hippie” has been confirmed for April 2nd, with other retailers expected to stock it on the day for $150.
