After focusing heavily on renditions of the Air Force 1, Nike’s conceptual N.354 series now moves onto a new silhouette for Spring/Summer 2020, with 1979’s Nike Daybreak in the brand’s crosshairs. The deconstructed and retooled silhouette is set to debut in two colorways, “Cactus Flower” and “Barely Volt”, and include a myriad of tweaks to the OG. Outlined Swooshes, exposed stitching, and airy-mesh uppers are the most notable changes, the latter channeling Chitose Abe’s construction if the original sacai x LDV Waffle collaborations. Here, that mesh is dyed in their respective title colors, with bone and black suede overlays respectively. Each pair comes complete with vintage-look exposed foam tongues — equipped with N.354 branding — and all-time white midsole/black rubber outsoles.
If you’re keen to add these to your Springtime rotation, both pairs will be dropping at select retailers overseas on April 30th, with a global Nike.com release expected to follow shortly after.
In other Nike news, the Nike Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 has just popped up in White and University Blue.
