After focusing heavily on renditions of the Air Force 1, Nike’s conceptual N.354 series now moves onto a new silhouette for Spring/Summer 2020, with 1979’s Nike Daybreak in the brand’s crosshairs. The deconstructed and retooled silhouette is set to debut very soon and includes a myriad of tweaks to the OG. Outlined Swooshes, exposed stitching, and airy-mesh uppers are the most notable changes, the latter channeling Chitose Abe’s construction if the original sacai x LDV Waffle collaborations. Here, that mesh is dyed in “Laser Orange”, with bone suede overlays at the toe, eyelets, and heel. Each pair comes complete with vintage-look exposed foam tongues — equipped with N.354 branding — and all-time white midsole/black rubber outsoles.
If you’re keen to add these to your Spring/Summer rotation, pairs will be dropping at select retailers overseas on April 30th, with a global Nike.com release expected to follow shortly after.
