The Nike Dunk High ’85 “Arctic Orange” Now Arrives September 27
With the Undercover x Nike Dunk High ’85 kicking things off for the brand’s retrospective run back in mid-2021, you’d have thought that alongside the onslaught of Dunk drops, we’d have seen more of the remodeled 1985 Dunk High silhouette. The fact is, we’ve only seen five follow-up releases, a second Undercover collaboration, and four Acid Wash colorways that hammed up the vintage appeal. Its sixth release, the Nike Dunk High ’85 “Arctic Orange” looks again to heritage finishes, though it does so in a less gaudy approach than its acid-washed counterparts.
Arriving akin to the recently-revealed “Pink Denim” colorway, this too is delivered atop a simple white leather upper, with pre-aged sail midsoles joining sherbert orange outsoles for some extra throwback flair. Its overlays work in denim twill of the titular hues, each attached to the upper with contrast stitching. Nylon tongues and their laces arrive in staple whites, liners in light orange, and tongue branding in black before special repeat-pattern Nike-branded insoles round out the design.
A release date has not yet been set for the Nike Dunk High ’85 “Arctic Orange,” but the timing of the images would suggest that a drop is not too far off into the future. Until more news arrives, grab a first and official look at the pair here below, and with more details to follow, you’ll want to make sure that you’re tuned into our official Twitter account for updates.
