To celebrate the Dunk's 40th anniversary, Nike is bringing back one of its most storied colorways: the Nike Dunk High “Kentucky.”
Originally part of the 1985 “Be True To Your School” pack, the white and royal blue Dunk was designed by Peter Moore and remains one of the most iconic college-themed sneakers in history. Its influence extended far beyond the court, helping define the Dunk’s legacy as a performance shoe and a cultural staple. The colorway also shares DNA with another Moore design from the same year: the original Air Jordan 1.
While the Dunk High “Kentucky” last saw a proper release in 2016, aside from a few scattered restocks, 2025 will mark its official return as part of the model’s anniversary celebrations. Though exact release details have not yet been confirmed, the retro is expected to drop during Fall 2025.
Stay tuned for updates on release timing and retail availability.
