Injecting a little sizzle into their late-summer lineup is an upcoming Nike Dunk Low "Bacon" — a pair that promises to be a mouthwatering conversation starter.
An apparent tribute to the iconic 2004 collaboration between DQM on the Air Max 90 "Bacon," this Dunk Low iteration carries forward the pork-inspired color palette to one of Nike's most sought-after models.
Employing red, brown, and pink hues, DQM's Dave Ortiz served up an unexpected yet unforgettable culinary-themed classic that has stood the test of time. Now after a recent retro of the 90, the Nike Dunk Low seeks to expand the legacy of this celebrated culinary collaboration.

At first glance, the Dunk Low "Bacon" immediately conveys the meaty theme. Red suede overlays sit on top of a sail-white base, while shades of pink grace the Swoosh and tongue. Complementing the design are touches of brown at the heel and sole, with a light tan rounding out the palette on the interior and laces.
Enjoy a first look at the Nike Dunk Low "Bacon" below, and expect to see these released on Nike SNKRS on December 21.
