Nike pays tribute to its heritage with the Dunk Low "Black/University Gold" for 2024 — a "Reverse Goldenrod" — a design deeply rooted in the sneaker's iconic two-tone tradition.
The new release sets a gold standard – quite literally – with a base layer bathed in vibrant university gold. This daring hue is the perfect backdrop for the stark black overlays that provide dramatic visual contrast. The black extends to the laces, tongue tag, and outsole, framing the gold base with a classic touch reminiscent of the original Goldenrod Dunk High from 1985.
But it's not all heritage on this release here, with heavy-duty mesh tongues and heels providing a more athletic touch, while an additional lateral mini Swoosh tag adds an exclamation point to the contemporary takeover. Lastly, a white midsole and black rubber outsole underfoot retain its heritage charm.
