While the Nike Dunk has predominantly showcased sleek leather and soft suede constructions this year, the iconic silhouette has been no stranger to experimentation with texture and hue. The forthcoming "Pink Corduroy" colorway is a prime example, as is the latest sun-baked orange iteration, featuring a unique cracked appearance throughout.
Set on an off-white tumbled leather foundation, accompanied by matching woven tongues, this pair employs a fascinating aged aesthetic across its overlays, except for the Swoosh and heel overlay, which embrace a fully cracked finish. This motif is further emphasized on the tongue tags and insoles, which display visuals reminiscent of a parched, desolate desert landscape. An off-white midsole provides support, while a semi-translucent marbled rubber outsole lies beneath to round out the design.
These sneakers are anticipated to hit Nike.com on August 12th
