With the sheer amount of colorways released, it’s surprising how infrequently the Nike Dunk Low implements streetwear-staple jean material. But for its next effort, the Nike Dunk Low “Denim,” the Swoosh will deploy the versatile textile — and it does so with a little Japanese flair.

Likely to be the subject of countless bespoke customs, this pair is ready to distress and dye with uppers of twill delivered in Summit White and Industrial Blue. The latter is attached with contrast stitching to mimic the classic garment, with supporting stitching applied to the eyestays, toe, and heel detail. The latter two, though, draw from traditional sashiko practices with cross-stitched marks replacing traditional perforations and NIKE branding, respectively. All of this comes together on a simple two-tone sole unit to complete the design.
