Despite the brand's plan to reduce the number of Nike Dunk Lows in production, Peter Moore's 40-year-old design continues to form an important part of the company's bottom line. As such, dozens of new styles are expected throughout the remainder of the year.
Come fall, the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent model will release in an "Olive/Light Silver" color scheme. Akin to the "Jade Horizon" style that released last year, the impending pair features green-colored suede around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel. The leather panels visible in-between, then, opt for a lighter leather build that creates visual contrast while harkening back to the sneaker's blueprint. Profile swooshes and Achilles' heel overlays opt for a silver finish that keeps things interesting.
Underfoot, the Nike Sportswear icon features an off-white midsole and gum brown outsole. Together, each aforementioned component helps expand the design's legacy well beyond its origins as a basketball shoe in the 1980s.
Firm release details for the "Light Silver"-accented Dunk haven't been confirmed by the brand as of yet, but pairs should arrive to Nike.com by October. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
