Where to Buy the Nike Dunk Low “Rainbow Trout”

Surrounded by hundreds of lakes and immense rainforests, the landscape of Oregon is primed for fishing. With the sport providing such an influence over the state, and likely the lives of those who work within the boundaries of Nike HQ, it should come as a shock to nobody that Oregon’s most populous game fish, the Rainbow Trout, is being served up as inspiration for their latest Nike Dunk — after all, sea creates have featured prominently on Nike footwear in years past.

Taking a very literal approach to the sea creature, this special-edition Nike Dunk Low “Rainbow Trout” coats itself in the fish’s vermiculation pattern, whilst a scaly finish has been applied to a glossy golden Swoosh — complete with an added hook tooth — to further the aesthetic. Fleshy hues dress the heel and tongue, with a smothering of mossy green suede covering the pair to mimic its environment. All of this then rests atop an all-sail sole unit, with fishing club insignia hitting the tongue tags and insoles to complete the design.
