A "Red Panda" Nike Dunk Low Expected August 2025

Nike, Inc. leadership has confirmed that the company plans to move away from the Nike Dunk Low and other classic franchises by the end of the year. Before this happens, however, Peter Moore's iconic design will take on a "Red Panda" ensemble.

Not to be mistaken by the colloquially-dubbed "Panda" Dunks that've been ubiquitous throughout the last five years, the impending launch is a conscious effort by Nike Sportswear to honor the revered animal via its popular sneaker. A "Dark Team Red" color scheme, however, makes the nod one to the smaller red panda.

High-quality leather and nubuck construction appears across the entirety of the upper, with panels opting for a two-toned presentation. Overlays indulge in a bright reddish-orange tone and glossy finish, while base layers favor a darker look. Laces and inner lining deviate in a "Black" tone that also lands on the tried-and-proven sole unit.

A special panda-shaped hang-tag appears with the playful Dunk Low, cementing the connection to the lesser panda.

Stay tuned for official photos and firm release details of the "Red Panda" pair. The shoe is expected to hit Nike.com and select shops before August 2025 ends.
