Nike Dunk Low “Safari Mix” Releases May 5th

Nike delivered the Dunk in unprecedented numbers throughout 2021, and it appears that we can expect much of the same throughout 2022, too. Though most designs have arrived in the simplest of forms — i.e. two-tone white and color leather schemes — there have been a handful of releases that have gone a little extra on it. This upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Safari Mix” is one such release.

Pairing a minimal white leather base and two-tone black and white sole unit, the release starts out as a perfect blank canvas. From there, the overlays are split atypically, with toe caps and quarter overlays divided into sections, each of which features a unique safari finish. Starting from the toe, you’ll see leopard prints and traditional safari spots, before the print is broken up by colorful purple and red eyestay overlays. Moving further backward, you’ll find faux furs of teal and purple on the lateral and medial sides respectively, before moving back to leopard print at the heel. Above that, you’ll find a pop of red, with Swooshes split between tan and green suede respectively.
