Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Samba” Earmarked for August 20th Release
Whispers of another early-Century Japan-exclusive Dunk returning in 2020 are starting to circulate, with 2001’s Nike Dunk Low Pro CO.JP “Samba” hinted as the next retro release for the Swoosh.
Instagram’s @wavegod_thelegend has teased several images of what is presumably a new release, along with several hints at its impending released in 2020. Like February’s “Plum” reissue from the Japan-exclusive “Ugly Duckling” pack, we’d be expecting to see a straight one-for-one re-release, incsive of Hyper Blue leather uppers, silver-grey overlays, and liners, and Samba Red Checks, soles, and heel overlays.
At this stage, details on its release are yet to be confirmed by Nike, but you can expect more news and a first lot of clear looks to filter through very soon — so make sure you’re following us here on Twitter for further updates. Until then, enjoy a quick look at 2001’s release below.
