When the Nike Air Presto launched back in 2000, it’s thirteen debut colorways were accompanied by twelve playful cartoon characters. They were nicknamed, sole-branded and marketed with the unconventional characters to great success. And now almost 20 years later, Nike will be bringing back the campaign — with a few new characters — for the revamped, React-loaded T-Shirt For Your Feet. One of those OG characters/colorways was the Rabid Panda, which arrived in a patriotic mix of navy, white and red, paired with a splash of black:

No following the release of the all-new React Presto and React Element 55s of the same name, Nike’s Epic React Flyknit 2 joins the Panda party. While differing in it’s contrasting dark shade, the Epic React 2 “Rabid Panda” still sports the bloodthirsty-vibes of the OG Presto — perhaps even to a greater degree — with its blood splatter-like effect in the split black/red woven upper. Bold Infrared midsoles is the hero of the pair, which is capped off with a jet black rubber outsole.
