Nike’s First Sight series continues to take shape, with the Nike First Sight Mirage now surfacing as the next women’s-exclusive model from the forward-looking line.

Launched earlier this year, Nike First Sight was built around three experimental women’s silhouettes, each pulling from sport while pushing into more expressive lifestyle territory. The Nike First Sight Mirage sits squarely between those ideas, merging the sharp profile of a football boot with the cleaner shape of an Oxford dress shoe.

The result is one of Nike’s more unusual new designs of the year. The upper keeps a low, streamlined shape with a lace-up build, paneled detailing, and molded overlays that nod to the wear and scuffing seen on football boots over time. It feels sporty, but not performance-first in the traditional sense, leaning more into the fashion side of Nike’s football archive.

Underfoot is where the Nike First Sight Mirage really separates itself. The sole unit features a sculpted, spike-like structure inspired by football cleats, but reworked for streetwear through 3D-sculpted TPU filled with foam. It gives the shoe an exaggerated on-pitch feel while keeping the design wearable away from the field.

With the 2026 World Cup bringing football further into the spotlight, the timing feels deliberate. The Nike First Sight Mirage is expected to release over the summer via Nike.com and select retailers, with a launch likely to land in or around the tournament window.
