Back in his Nike days, anything Kanye touched turned to gold — be it albums or fashion. in a perfect example of West’s influence on the sneaker market, the OG “Oreo” Nike Flyknit Trainer became one of Ye’s favorite and most frequent daily wears, and as a result, it became impossible to cop on its release. The hype for the silhouette has died down significantly, but not before Nike threw out a handful of reissues and variants to feed the market’s thirst. And now, after only two years removed from its last re-release, the OG “Oreo” Nike Flyknit Trainer is set for another (more than welcome) return to the market — with the info filtered through in unorthodox fashion.

Earlier today, many people have come through our DMs citing a now-removed SNKRS calendar posting for the shoe. Those who were quickly onto it sighted a May 10th release date, but with its lightning-fast removal, it may have been plugged in for the wrong dates.
