Nike Football has been pushing product for the beautiful game since 1971. And while it continues to innovate for the pitch, the Swoosh division also has a long history of producing footwear for indoor courts and salas, winning players over with styles like the Gato.
Launched in 2010, the Nike Gato was one of the era's go-to silhouettes for those looking for a modern take on a heritage design. Reminiscent of the Tiempo once endorsed by the legendary Ronaldinho, the Gato featured mesh cutouts across the profiles and around the heel for improved breathability and a lighter package. Leather and suede construction also varied throughout uppers, with a newly-surfaced "Light Army" update taking on the latter material.
Like the recent slew of Total 90 III retros, the Cushlon foam midsole is accompanied by a "Gum Light Brown" outsole. An octagonal tread pattern delivers both a trendy look and performance benefits once co-signed by Nike SB.

Away from footwear for the beautiful game, the Swoosh has developed the G.T. Future, a modern basketball shoe inspired by early 2000s heritage.
