Nike Freak 8 Gets a Halloween Makeover for October 2026

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s eighth signature sneaker is getting in on the Halloween festivities, with a new Nike Freak 8 colorway set to release on October 23, 2026.

The pair leans heavily into green, covering the upper in layered olive and lime tones with scattered black graphics throughout. Purple laces add another hit of color, while metallic gold Swooshes stand out against the darker base.

Underfoot, the Freak 8 shifts into brighter shades of green across the sculpted midsole and outsole, giving the pair a look that fits comfortably within Nike Basketball’s seasonal Halloween lineup.

The Freak 8 will release alongside a wider Nike Basketball Halloween collection, which also includes the Nike Ja 4 in its own spooky colorway.

The Nike Freak 8 “Halloween” is set to release on October 23 for $130 via Nike.com and select retailers.
