As the world awaits the FIFA World Cup 2026™ draw event that'll determine each group in the tournament, Nike, Inc. has taken the opportunity to showcase the first example of what it has in store for the North American-hosted event.
Nike Football is expected to unveil all of the kits for its sponsored nations as the June 11 kickoff for the World Cup™ inches closer, but the brand's Sportswear counterpart is leading the charge with the announcement of the "Hollywood Keepers" Collection.
As mentioned in an official press release for the range, the lineup "draws from the bold flair and eccentric confidence of 1990s and early 2000s goalkeepers, recasting their iconic style and attitude for a new generation." In keeping with the time's aesthetics, long-sleeve jerseys for the USA, Brazil, England, South Korea, and other countries opt for a looser fit. All-over prints and deep sleeves also join the mix, bringing nostalgic style and football heritage to product ready to be worn off-the-pitch. Each "Hollywood Keepers" top by Nike Sportswear differs from what goalkeepers will wear during the World Cup™; instead, the newly-surfaced products preview the design strategy with which the Swoosh is going for the tournament. The Sportswear range doesn't adhere to the guidelines implemented by FIFA, allowing bold fashion-enthusiasts to call attention on the streets.
Enjoy detailed shots of the inaugural "Hollywood Keepers" Collection ahead. All eye-catching long-sleeve goalkeeper-inspired jerseys will release via Nike.com on Monday, Dec. 8.
