It's not 2013 anymore, but Nike Football is making it seem like it is with its return of the original Hypervenom boot. Once endorsed by the likes of Neymar Jr. and Wayne Rooney, the Total 90 franchise-replacement went on to become one of the most beloved designs on the market. Its reissue throughout Summer 2025 is sure to sell out quickly while pushing countless ballers to reminisce on better days.
Set to re-launch in its original and iconic "Black/Citrus" color scheme, the Nike Hypervenom Phantom I is also expected in other styles—both old and new. One such ensemble that forms part of the boot's revival is a "White/Black/Photo Blue" color combination. Both the Phantom II and III released in a similar look throughout their original runs, but the debut Hypervenom didn't. Nevertheless, the multi-colored finish looks right at home on the NikeSkin-donning design.
A gradient finish appears throughout the upper, with the dimpled presentation giving way to a "Photo Blue" pattern. The All Conditions Control (ACC) coating and offset laces reprise their roles, delivering faithful performance for those who remember playing in the boots 12 years ago and newcomers alike. Emblems on the medial heel, however, introduce a new spider graphic that replaces the Hypervenom's signature skull-and-bones logo.

The pair-specific spider emblem seemingly reveals the inspiration behind the tri-colored pair.
The gradient "White/Black/Photo Blue" recreates imagery of a venomous (or, at the very least, dangerous) arachnid covering the football boot with its web. Medial sides and areas just above the Hypervenom Phantom III Firm Ground's plate configuration indulge in an abstract, blue-heavy pattern. The same graphics take on the nylon shoe bag included in the shoe box, which also takes on a custom look inspired by the boots.
It's likely the predatory spider theme will also appear on other Nike Football products throughout the remainder of the year.
Enjoy official photos of the Hypervenom Phantom I "White/Black/Photo Blue" pair ahead. Pairs are expected to hit Nike.com and speciality retailers throughout summer. Pricing has been confirmed to be $250.
Outside of the world of football, the Air Max roster continues to grow by the day.
