Audacious New Nike ISPA Road Warrior Retails at $500
A quick site search on Nike’s ISPA lineage reveals that the brand’s infant subdivision is extremely different in its approach to footwear. The overarching theme of the lineage is based on the basic rules of survival, Improvise, Scavenge, Protect and Adapt — and its easy to see how all four elements and invoked on this overlay-audacious ISPA release that’s surfaced online today — now revealed to be the Nike ISPA Road Warrior
Claimed to be limited to just 8000 pairs worldwide, the sneaker — whose name is yet to be revealed — serves up a concoction of tech, utilitarian hardware, and responsiveness to a degree that we’ve never seen before. First looks indicate that these may well be based on the Nike LeBron 15, due to its overall shape, segmented Air units, and extensive use of pulls. The mid-rise woven sock upper is segmented into a camel toe, and sports multiple different weaves, colors, and textures. It’s encased at the toe and heel by milky translucent guards, both of which hold connections for the snowboot-like lock-down bindings across the vamp. Underfoot you’ll find a foam midsole, Zoom Air pods — double-stacked at the midfoot — and a spring suspension in the rear. Outsoles are as aggressive as they get, sporting a seemingly randomized Waffle tread in varying sizes.
