Ja Morant’s 2025-26 campaign may have come to an end short of an NBA Finals appearance, but Nike Basketball is still keeping the spotlight firmly on his signature line. As the Ja 3 continues its breakout run heading into Summer 2026, one of the silhouette’s loudest collaborations yet has now officially been locked in for release.

After first teasing the pair on Christmas Eve, Morant gave fans an early glimpse at his upcoming Kool-Aid collaboration, reviving the playful partnership that debuted on the Ja 2 last year. Now, official release details for the Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 3 have finally been confirmed, with the colorful collaboration set to launch on May 20, 2026.

Just like its predecessor, the pair fully embraces the over-the-top energy associated with the iconic beverage mascot. The sneaker arrives with an intentionally mismatched setup between the left and right shoes, combining vibrant shades of Lemon Venom, Light Photo Blue, Deep Royal Blue, Light Green Spark, Pink Beam, and Hyper Pink across the sculpted Ja 3 upper.

The Kool-Aid Man himself returns atop the tongue branding, while the rest of the sneaker leans heavily into candy-colored gradients and loud contrasting finishes. The exaggerated design language of the Ja 3 only amplifies the collaboration’s chaotic energy, making it one of the silhouette’s most playful makeovers to date.

Beyond simply revisiting last year’s concept, the release also continues Nike Basketball’s growing trend of leaning into nostalgic food-and-drink partnerships across performance footwear. For Morant specifically, the collaboration fits naturally alongside the energetic and often unpredictable identity surrounding both his game and signature line.

The Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 3 will release on May 20, 2026, via Nike.com and select retailers in both adult and kids sizing.
