An 81 point game, sheesh! Th e Toronto Raptors could not stop the man they call Mamba that night. And now, 13 years on, the wounds will be re-opened for Raps fans, as Nike celebrate the 13th anniversary of the event, with a release of the Kobe 1 Protro “81 Points”
Expected to arrive identically to the game-worn sneaker (below), it will arrive dressed in a Lakers-themed White, Black, and Court Purple. White leather makes up the upper, paired with Black Swoosh branding, heel and outsole,, and it’s accented with Purple on the ankle collar and midsole.
The release of the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro “81 Points” coincides with the anniversary on January 22nd, at select Nike retailers and on Nike SNKRS.
