Nike Unveil the Kyrie 5

Fantastic Fifth.

Yesterday, Nike Basketball unveiled Kyrie Irving’s fifth signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 5, with this “Black Magic” colorway being the flagship release.

Designed by Ben Nethongkome, the Nike Kyrie 5 includes three critical elements. First an articulated forefoot zoom bag called, the Air Zoom Turbo unit, which curves to wrap the bottom and sides of the foot. Second a new containment system inspired by a Venus Flytrap, this feature creates optimal containment above the Air Zoom Turbo unit. Lastly, a new traction pattern that draws direct inspiration from Irving and his crazy conspiracies.

The Nike Kyrie 5 “Black Magic” is scheduled to debut on November 23rd at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com, with a Chinese release landing on December 6th.

Not only will you look good and be locked in on the court, your hip pocket will be in check, with the Nike Kyrie 5 retailing at just $130.
